In this position, you will work in the outpatient department treating patients with neurological conditions, including Stroke, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, Adult cerebral palsy, Vestibular disorders, and a range of orthopedic and post-surgical conditions. Experience with Neurological rehabilitation is preferred. This is a full-time position, working Monday through Friday with hours between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., including intermittent weekend and holiday coverage. Preferred Criteria • Experience treating a variety of neurological conditions in adult and/or geriatric populations. • Experience with treating a variety of orthopedic populations, including expertise with post-operative protocols. • Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. • APTA Neurological Clinical Specialist certification. • APTA co-sponsored competency-based course series in Vestibular Rehabilitation. Required Criteria • Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy. • Demonstrates competency in clinical skills consistent with level of education, training and experience. • New York State Physical Therapy license. • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
