Podcast Production Intern – Audio Editing & Story Development

Overview Flomad Labs R&D is looking for a creative and technically capable Podcast Production Intern to support the creation and delivery of high-quality podcast content. In this role, you’ll be involved in the full production cycle—from episode planning and recording to editing, publishing, and audience engagement. You’ll assist in setting up recording sessions, editing audio files for clarity and pacing, and helping distribute episodes across platforms such as Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and Google Podcasts. This internship is a great opportunity for someone passionate about storytelling, sound design, and the evolving world of digital media. You’ll also be encouraged to experiment with AI-powered tools for audio processing, transcription, and workflow automation to enhance production speed and consistency. Key Responsibilities • Edit and enhance podcast episodes, applying EQ, noise reduction, and mixing to deliver polished audio. • Assist with equipment setup and remote or in-person recording sessions as needed. • Research episode topics, trends, and potential guests to help shape compelling content. • Add intros, outros, transitions, and sound effects to elevate the overall production quality. • Upload and publish podcast episodes to hosting platforms, ensuring metadata and descriptions are accurate. • Track performance metrics across podcast platforms and assist with promotion strategies. • Explore AI and automation tools for audio cleanup, editing, and transcription. • Collaborate with marketing and content teams to align episodes with broader content themes and campaigns. Preferred Skills & Qualifications • Familiarity with audio editing software (e.g., Audacity, Adobe Audition, GarageBand, or Reaper). • Interest in podcasting, digital storytelling, and audience engagement. • Strong attention to detail and a good ear for audio quality and narrative pacing. • Ability to manage time effectively and meet production deadlines. • Willingness to learn new tools, including AI-assisted production technologies. • Collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for creative media production.
