Role Overview
  • This isn’t your typical “write-the-requirements-and-move-on” BA role.
  • As a Product Business Analyst (Software / SaaS), you’ll be the translator between vision and execution — shaping how ideas become real, usable products.
  • SaaS product/platform environment
  • Not a CRM implementation, support, or third-party configuration-focused BA role
  • Focused on software delivery, workflows, and product behaviour
  • Agile software engineering team
  • Product-focused BA role working closely with Developers and QA
Key Responsibilities:
  • Translate product initiatives into structured requirements.
  • Define workflows, system behaviors, and business rules.
  • Write user stories, acceptance criteria, and product specifications.
  • Collaborate with developers and QA during delivery.
  • Identify edge cases, dependencies, and system interactions.
  • Support backlog refinement and sprint planning.
  • Ensure alignment between product requirements and delivered features.

Requirements

Required Qualifications (Must-Have):
  • 5+ years experience as a Software Business Analyst or Product Business Analyst.
  • Experience with SaaS or web-based platforms.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, Lucid-chart, or similar tools.
  • Proven ability to write clear, structured requirements and documentation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Nice-to-Have:
  • Experience working in cross-functional product teams.
  • Exposure to end-to-end product lifecycle delivery.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience improving documentation standards or BA practices.
  • Ability to identify risks, gaps, and process improvements proactively.
  • Experience working with distributed or remote teams.
