Job Summary

As a Product Planning Lead, you will be responsible for driving the product strategy and development of Google Home products, with a focus on Home Awareness (Security and Wellbeing) offerings. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, business development, product management, engineering, and other stakeholders to launch new products, manage in-market products, and develop business cases that drive growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify market opportunities, build business cases, and define strategy and direction for Home products, with a focus on Home Awareness (Security and Wellbeing) product offerings.
• Lead the launch of Home Hardware products globally, working with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches.
• Manage in-market products, working closely with cross-functional partners to meet or exceed business objectives and develop product life cycle strategies.
• Lead regular cross-functional business operations meetings to ensure alignment on business targets and key results.
• Oversee key decisions from a total product profit and loss perspective.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, product managers, and external partners.

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• 3+ years of experience in program/project management, management consulting, corporate strategy, or business operations/planning.
• Proven track record of driving business growth and developing successful product strategies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the smart home, consumer devices/equipment, or services industries.
• Knowledge of Go-to-Market strategies for security and wellbeing products.
• Experience building new projects and business processes.
• Skilled in managing internal and external partner relationships.
• Experience launching products globally and across various channels (B2C, B2B).
• Ability to act as a product category advocate and work collaboratively to identify opportunities or resolve issues.
