Specialist, Fresh Success 100% Remote within California, Must reside in California We are seeking a Specialist to join FoundationCCC in its mission of benefitting, supporting, and enhancing the California Community Colleges—the largest and most diverse system of higher education in the nation. What You’ll Do The mission of the FoundationCCC’s Workforce Development Department (WDD) is to help learners achieve better education, economic, and social outcomes by providing partners in education, workforce and economic development, and industry with outstanding technical assistance, research, administrative services, and financial resource development support. The Fresh Success program brings federal dollars to California to help students and other low-income community members gain the skills and experience they need to become more employable. The Specialist is responsible for onboarding, monitoring, and supporting the ongoing success of Fresh Success providers. • Support the success of Fresh Success providers (community colleges, adult education providers, and community-based organizations) through the onboarding training for new providers, ongoing technical assistance for assigned providers, and monitoring assigned providers for compliance with CalFresh and SNAP guidelines • Maintain relationships with assigned County social services agencies, including analysis and submission of required data. • Coordinate and maintain communications including email, web pages and program materials Attributes for Success • Relevant BA/BS, equivalent work experience, or a combination of both • Minimum of three (3) + years of professional work experience with demonstrated success • Familiarity with the community college system and workforce training is preferred • We’re recruiting for mission-driven, passionate, equity-minded individuals with a strong desire to impact and change people’s lives for the better • Our work holds great weight and responsibility, and the opportunity to impact the lives of millions • Team members are hired for their expertise in niche areas across our areas of impact and higher education overall, and for their knowledge of business, philanthropy, technology, communications, and more This position requires a Livescan.
