The workforce is highly skilled and consists of application consultants, software engineers, and networking engineers located throughout the U.S. Project Accounting Specialist As a Project Accounting Specialist, you will manage more complex project setups, invoice processing, and time entry reviews. You will work on utilization analysis, assist with credit/rebills, and ensure accurate cross-charge service processing, while collaborating with senior team members on project profitability reporting. Duties and Responsibilities: • Set up projects in the project management system and ensure all details are accurate. • Review and correct time entries and address any discrepancies. • Process invoices, edit as needed, and manage credit/rebill transactions. • Use Asana to track project progress and ensure tasks are completed on time. • Monitor and report on project profitability and utilization metrics. • Manage the cross-charge service process and subcontractor time entries. • Collaborate on improving billing and project setup processes. • Other duties as assigned. Job-Specific Competencies: • Intermediate understanding of project management and financial processes. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to review time entries and invoices for accuracy. • Proficient in Asana, Microsoft Excel, and other financial tools. • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Education and Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. • 3-5 years of relevant experience in project management or professional services.
