Evaluate, design and implement, through interface with field management manpower and systems projects designed to reduce operating expenses, increase revenues and enhance customer service. Essential Functions Assists foreign affiliate where the agreement specifies, with facility searches, evaluations, planning design, and engineering. Consults with management in such vital areas as field operations, new service and products, and procedures. Develops procedures for and prepares and monitors long range plans for each station and district, provides analysis regarding expansion, new products, procedures, vehicles, equipment, manpower and facility needs. Develops, monitors, analyzes, recommends, and implements or assists with systems to improve productivity, service and cost performance in all areas of international operations in conjunction with field management. Provides project leadership in corporate and departmental projects impacting customs clearance, system form and other projects relating to productivity and performance. Provides technical assistance to field personnel through workshops, station reviews, seminars, and one-on-one sessions in such areas as operations, manning, Ims, famis, contingency planning, productivity and cost effectiveness. Perform other duties as assigned Minimum Education Bachelor's degree/equivalent, in industrial engineering or a related engineering discipline. Minimum Experience Seven (7) years or related experience. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Software skills, including use of Microsoft Office software and web-based applications. Verbal and written communication skills necessary to communicate with all levels of management. Ability to analyze, review, and make recommendations. Ability to mentor, coach and act as a knowledge resource to other employees. Knowledge of concepts, practices, regulations, policies and procedures related to field operations.
