Project Manager - Manufacturing Plant Closures

NO SPONSORSHIP PROJECT MANAGER - Manufacturing Plant both closing and merging Rate: Open C2C LOCATION: REMOTE DURATION: 6-12 MONTH Looking for a polished Project Manager specializing in plant closures, facility closure experience. You will have manufacturing industry experience, merger and acquisitions, moving production facilities. Need people who have worked in large manufacturing company project managing over mergers. You will lead the complete process of shitting down a manufacturing facility, including planning, executing and closing the project, while ensuring compliance with safety, budget and timeline objectives. Key responsibilities include managing the project budget, coordinating teams, communicating with stakeholders, identifying and mitigating risks, overseeing the safe dismantling and disposal of equipment, and ensuring all closure activities align with company goals and regulatory requirements. • Lead the planning, execution, and closing of manufacturing projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and project goals • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and supply chain teams to define project scope, milestones, and deliverables • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources while mitigating risks and addressing issues proactively • Implement and oversee project management best practices, including Agile and Lean methodologies, to enhance efficiency and productivity • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by analyzing project performance and implementing lessons learned for future initiatives • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, providing regular project updates and facilitating effective communication Required: • 8+ years of experience in project management within the manufacturing sector, with a proven track record of managing complex projects • Expertise in project management methodologies • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams • PMP Certified Preferred: • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing • Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and manufacturing execution systems (MES) Apply tot his job
