Job title: Property Accountant - $95k to $100k/year Company: Job description: Description Property Accountant - $95k to $100k/year Our client, a company located in Braintree, MA, is looking for a Property Accountant who will be responsible for accounting and external financial reporting for a portfolio of properties encompassing the full spectrum of transaction processing, general ledger analysis, external financial reporting, annual audit preparation, and ownership distributions. What To Know: • $95 to $100k annual pay rate • Must be vaccinated or has an exemption to it Responsibilities: • Ensuring timely payments of monthly mortgages and quarterly real estate tax payments • Recording monthly gross potential rents, loss/gain to lease, and vacancy • Completing month-end closing and preparing and submitting periodic reporting packages to lenders and/or investors • Performing all monthly account reconciliations and updating supporting analytical schedules on a timely basis Requirements and Skills: • 7 years of accounting and 3 years of residential property (multi-family housing) experience • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or any related field • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications and prior experience with Yardi is required • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills with a high level of attention to detail There are no costs for candidates utilizing our services as our clients pay for all related hiring fees.
