WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?   An IT systems engineer is responsible for maintaining the design and integrity of client software systems and infrastructure, coordinating complex projects, and implementing software and hardware solutions. This role requires a growth mindset: you are expected to continuously learn, stay current on modern IT practices, and actively look for opportunities to standardize, automate, and improve outcomes for clients. This position is responsible for maintaining in-depth knowledge, ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation, generating recommendations for projects (hardware/software/maintenance), and applying AI-assisted tooling where appropriate to accelerate troubleshooting, reduce repetitive work, and improve service quality. To this end, you may participate in support incident escalations for assigned customers or those where a particular skill set is needed; whether it’s helping help desk engineers get trained or taking full charge of rare or complex incidents. RESPONSABILITIES   - IT support relating to technical issues involving Microsoft's core business applications and operating systems, as well as virtual environments built on Microsoft Hyper-V, Azure - Engineer and implement system solutions for customers using technologies that meet their needs - Technical services and support at the network level: WAN/LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security - Implementation, administration and support of cloud solutions for customers including Microsoft 365, Intune, Azure, and other software as service applications - Support remote access solutions: VPN, RDP, Windows 365 - Document internal processes and procedures - Build and maintain automation (PowerShell/Python) for repeatable delivery, remediation, and reporting  - Create and improve standard service templates (golden configs, baseline policies, deployment patterns)  - Use AI-assisted tools responsibly to accelerate troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and documentation (while validating outputs)  - Contribute to internal knowledge base/runbooks and lead knowledge-sharing sessions (lunch & learns, playbooks)  - Identify recurring issues and drive problem management/continuous improvement to reduce tickets SKILLS   - English (bilingual) it´s a must - 5 years minimum previous network administrator, IT systems engineer or IT field engineer experience and/or relevant education. - Solid understanding of IT fundamentals such as DB, TCP/IP and OSI, storage, virtualization, e-mai - Interpersonal skills: such as video & telephony skills, communication skills, active listening and customer-care - Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly - Technical awareness: ability to match resources to technical issues appropriately - Service awareness of all organization’s key IT services for which support is being provided - Understanding of support tools, techniques, and how technology is used to provide IT services - Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment - Strong scripting/automation: PowerShell (required), plus Python or equivalent  - Cloud fundamentals + operations: Azure (strong), plus exposure to AWS/GCP is a plus  - Practical security mindset: least privilege, conditional access concepts, secure automation credentials/secrets  - “AI literacy”: prompt discipline, data sensitivity awareness, and ability to validate AI output IS A PLUS   - Professional IT Certifications, such as: Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA.  - ITIL foundations  - EOS experience   BENEFITS   -  Salary in dollars -  100% remote -  Get your birthday off -  Internet and Gym voucher! -  Complete Technical Equipment sent to your home (chair, monitor, computer, headphones, keyboard, etc.) - ️ Paid holidays, vacations, personal days off and study days
