PT Facility Maintenance Worker – Amazon Store

SALARY: $12-17/hour PURPOSE: Under the direction of the Facility Manager, the Facility Maintenance Worker is responsible for assisting full time staff in the performance of skilled maintenance at the Public Services Department garage and offices, police offices, Township parks, and senior center. SCOPE: Maintenance of Township equipment, machinery, facilities and accessory buildings. ESSENTIALS ROLES & RESPONSIBLILITIES: May include all duties but not limited to: Oversee the preventative maintenance and repairs for critical building systems, including: Pest Control Elevator Generators Boilers Irrigation HVAC Basic Carpentry Repairs Basic Plumbing Repairs Basic Electric Repairs Other Repairs within scope of knowledge Clean wax and paint equipment. Minor repairs to vehicles. Wash windows. Paint interior and exterior walls. Replaces floor and ceiling tiles. Replace light bulbs and repair fixtures. Minor repairs to heating and cooling systems. Mops and waxes floors. Other duties as assigned. CRITICAL SKILLS / EXPERTISE: Ability to make minor repairs on facility related equipment. Good physical condition with no serious defect of vision, hearing, or members. Skill and care in the operating of motor vehicles. Knowledge of building grounds, and facility maintenance methods, tools, materials, and supplies. Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with associates. Ability and willingness to perform heavy physical labor for extended periods of time. Ability to work under occasionally adverse weather conditions. EDUCATION, LICENSING & CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENT: High school degree or equivalent.Valid Drivers License.
