Our manufacturing facilities located in Clackamas, OR, Vancouver, WA, and Rock Hill, SC allow us to serve diverse markets such as Agriculture, Industrial, Municipal, Rental, and Mining.Join the Cornell Pump Company team as a Temporary Quality Inspector! We're looking for a full-time team member for a 4-6-month assignment at our Clackamas facility. You'll work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM-perfect hours to keep your evenings and weekends free. The hourly pay range is $20.00 - $25.00/hr (DOE). We offer free lunch with a food truck on Fridays throughout the Summer. What You'll Do: Perform dimensional and visual inspection of raw materials and finished machined parts to blueprint specificationsIdentify non-conforming parts and materials; initiate NCRs and submit for MRB reviewAssist with blueprint interpretation and inspection criteria for team membersUse inspection tools and techniques, including CMM, to improve accuracy and efficiencySupport calibration and maintenance of inspection equipmentPrioritize daily tasks based on MRP requirements and team inputPerform MRP-related tasks such as closing shop orders and updating documentationAccess and use critical software systems (e.g., CAD, MRP, CMM programming)Follow all quality procedures and work instructionsOperate forklifts and lifting equipment safely and efficientlyMaintain safe working habits and follow all safety protocolsQUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
