As our agency continues to grow, we are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper with expertise in QuickBooks Online to help us maintain clean, transparent, and organized financial operations. Role Overview: We’re looking for a U.S.-based Bookkeeper to help us with reviewing bills and payments and to create a reliable system of checks and balances for financial accuracy and accountability. This role is ideal for someone who understands the nuances of working with small businesses or agencies and can take initiative to implement streamlined workflows. Responsibilities: Review all bills and outgoing payments for accuracy and proper coding Reconcile accounts and ensure that payments align with agency records Improve current system to implement a system for financial checks and balances Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in QuickBooks Online Identify discrepancies and propose corrective actions using Quickbooks online automation tools Collaborate with our team to improve financial processes and reporting Ensure compliance with accounting best practices and U.S. tax requirements Qualifications: Based in the U.S. and legally authorized to work 3+ years of bookkeeping experience, preferably with agencies or service-based businesses Strong expertise with QuickBooks Online (QBO) Proven track record of creating or managing accounting systems Highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently Preferred: Experience with entertainment, talent, or creative industries Familiarity with talent payments, W-9/1099 handling, W2, and ACH/check processes Hours & Compensation: Part-time or project-based (open to discussing ongoing support) Competitive hourly rate based on experience How to Apply: Please send your resume, a brief note about your experience with QBO and setting up financial controls, and your hourly rate.
