Reddit & Community Engagement Strategist

Description: • Develop and lead an organic Reddit strategy to educate and inspire immigrant professionals and allies by sharing success stories, demystifying visa processes, and surfacing lesser-known pathways (EB-1, EB-2 NIW, O-1, etc.) • Embed authentically in subreddit communities such as r/immigration, r/legaladvice, r/USCIS, r/Ask_Lawyers, r/startups, and r/femalefounders—offering genuine help, not hollow promotion. • Create a pipeline of Reddit-first content: educational posts, thoughtful AMAs, nuanced legal explainer threads, and follow-ups that answer real questions with care. • Explore paid Reddit ads judiciously—only when aligned with our values of trust, clarity, and access. • Track community sentiment and growth metrics, including karma flow, post engagement, upvotes/downvotes, saved threads, and inbound inquiries that stem from Reddit interactions. • Build alliances with moderators and key contributors, creating a respectful presence that adds value long-term. Requirements: • Deep Reddit expertise: You’re a Reddit power user who understands the platform’s mechanics, subreddit cultures, and norms around authentic engagement and self-promotion. • Strong writing skills in a Reddit-native voice: You can translate complex legal or procedural topics into plain, empathetic, and helpful language that resonates in Reddit communities. • Experience in community engagement or content strategy: You’ve built or managed community presence on Reddit, forums, or similar platforms—ideally with a focus on education, advocacy, or B2C services. • Self-starter with high accountability: You can work independently, identify opportunities for engagement, and manage your own content roadmap without heavy oversight. • Mission-aligned mindset: You care about equity, access, and clarity in the legal space—especially for immigrants, founders, or underrepresented communities. • Resilience and adaptability: You’re comfortable receiving feedback from a candid online community and use it to refine your approach rather than retreat.
