Job title: Senior Director, DEI and HR Communications Company: Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Job description: We are searching for a Senior Director, Human Resources (HR) & Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Communications, to lead the development and management of communication strategies and programs. This role is part of the internal communications team and will support our Human Resources function (culture, talent acquisition, career development, total rewards & wellness, employee experience) and the office of DEI, where we are making steady progress against our three-pillar framework to build a Better Workplace, Better Science, Better World. Reporting to the Executive Director, Head of Internal Communications as a member of the Human Resources Leadership Team. A typical day might include: Work closely with the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), Chief Diversity Officer (CDO) and key partners to develop and lead all aspects of a comprehensive HR, culture and DEI communication strategy, plan and calendar that advance our people and strategic objectives. Identify clear communications goals and results that can be tracked and measured. Act as a trusted advisor and thought partner to CHRO and CDO on communication priorities and messaging for a global audience. Develop and integrate centralized processes and tools for communications planning and execution which can be shared across our business groups. Equip leaders to discuss HR, culture and DEI topics and progress with their teams. Lead efforts to communicate and respond to critical or sensitive HR/DEI issues to employees and external audiences. Serve as an advocate and change agent for workplace inclusion and people priorities. Manage one direct report at senior manager level, as well as freelance and agency resources. Takes initiative to bring forward new ideas to improve processes and deliver creative programs. Skilled at handling external agencies, freelancers, writers, etc. Knowledge of HR programs and practices. Understanding of diversity and inclusion issues globally and how they resonate in local markets. Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills Bachelor's degree Minimum 15 years relevant experience in employee communications and engagement supporting HR, culture and/or DEI. Prefer candidates who have internal communications experience with companies that are based on science, biopharma industry. Knowledge and understanding of change management principles to help engage and support employees of a growing, maturing company and reinforce unique workplace culture and values.
