Job Summary
We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN Telemetry professional to join our team on a remote basis. As a RN Telemetry with Vetted Health, you'll be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, monitoring patient telemetry, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery. This is a 13-week contract opportunity with 12-hour shifts, 3 days a week, and offers a competitive salary of $2,110 per week, with $1,477 in wages and $633 in stipend.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care, including monitoring patient telemetry and responding to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery and achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient needs, goals, and priorities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical histories, physical exams, and laboratory results
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patient responses
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including electronic medical records (EMRs)
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest medical research, technologies, and best practices
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- Current RN licensure in the state of Pennsylvania (or eligible for licensure)
- 2 years of experience in a telemetry or similar setting
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- National and state certification (or eligible for certification)
- Strong clinical skills, including patient assessment, medication administration, and telemetry monitoring
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMRs) and other healthcare technologies
- Certification in a relevant specialty (e.g. CCRN, CPN)
- Experience working in a travel or contract nursing role
- Strong leadership and mentorship skills, with ability to lead and support other nurses
