PayBright is seeking a driven, relationship-focused professional to join our growing team as a Relationship Manager. As a Relationship Manager, you'll serve as a key resource for our sales partners, helping guide onboarding, supporting day-to-day operations, and collaborating across departments to create exceptional experiences for our partners and merchants.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for sales partners and referral relationships
Serve as the primary point of contact for sales partners and their clients, providing end-to-end support and driving issues from initial inquiry through final resolution
Deliver proactive problem-solving and resolution management to ensure a best-in-class partner and merchant experience
Assist with overflow support requests from both Customer Support and Agent Support teams as business needs require
Support onboarding efforts and ensure a seamless partner experience
Help streamline sales and operational processes to improve efficiency and consistency
Collaborate with internal departments to drive successful outcomes for partners and merchants
Coach and strategize with sales partners to help move opportunities through the pipeline
Assist partners in achieving and exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual goals
Build and maintain strong internal and external business relationships
Contribute to business development initiatives and strategic growth opportunities
Participate in training sessions, team meetings, and performance reporting
Requirements
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
2+ years of experience in relationship management, sales support, customer service, account management, or administrative support within the merchant services/payments industry
Working knowledge of:
Payment processing
POS systems and terminals
Merchant statements and residuals
Merchant Processing Agreements (MPAs)
Merchant onboarding and activation processes
This is not an entry-level position. Candidates must possess strong, hands-on experience in the merchant services and payment processing industry, including the qualifications listed above. Applicants without significant experience in these areas will not be considered.

Experience utilizing CRM platforms and sales tracking tools
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining high-quality execution
Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, effectively managing multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously
Serves as a single point of contact for partners, ensuring clear communication, responsiveness, and consistent follow-through
Demonstrated ownership mindset with the ability to drive issues through to full resolution without handoff gaps
Collaborative mindset with a passion for helping others succeed
High level of professionalism, organization, and attention to detail
Schedule & Location
Full-time (40 hours per week)
Monday–Friday, with occasional weekend hours as needed
The ideal candidate will work in our Raleigh, NC four days per week
