We're seeking a highly motivated and results-driven individual to manage a portfolio of law schools in a designated territory. As an Academic Account Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and executing strategic plans to maximize market share, product revenue, and customer preference
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with law school customers, faculty, and students
- Providing exceptional training and support to customers, ensuring they maximize the value of our products and services
- Identifying new sales opportunities and driving revenue growth within the existing customer base
- Representing Thomson Reuters at trade shows, conferences, and other industry events
- Managing a team of Student Brand Ambassadors, including hiring, training, and performance management
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A strong understanding of the legal profession and academic sector
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Proven account management and territory management experience
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a remote team
- Strong time management, prioritization, and organizational skills
- A JD degree and prior legal experience are preferred
