Enerex is a leading software platform for the retail energy industry, connecting brokers, suppliers, and market participants through a unified data and workflow system. As an Account Executive for BrokerHub, you will be responsible for driving new business growth and managing the entire sales process to establish new customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Driving new business growth within the SMB and mid-market energy broker segment
- Own the entire sales process—from initial outreach through contract execution
- Building a consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities
- Disciplined pipeline management
- Strong discovery and demo execution
- Translating BrokerHub’s capabilities into clear operational value for energy brokers
- Remaining focused on generating new revenue after a deal is closed
Skills
- Experience in the retail energy industry (broker, agent, or selling into brokers)
- 3+ years of B2B sales experience in a full-cycle, new business or 'hunter' role
- Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding quota
- Ability to build and manage a high-volume pipeline with strong activity levels
- Strong CRM discipline, including accurate pipeline management and forecasting
- Experience running product demos and aligning solutions to customer workflows
- Effective communication skills with the ability to engage both operators and decision-makers
- Direct experience as an energy broker or in broker-channel sales
- Existing relationships within deregulated energy markets (e.g., Texas, PJM, New England)
- Experience selling SaaS or platform-based solutions to SMB or mid-market customers
- Familiarity with brokerage workflows (quoting, enrollment, commissions, agent management)
- Experience using HubSpot or similar CRM platforms
