The Account Manager in Commercial Lines will manage client service needs, respond to inquiries, and prepare insurance proposals while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for client service. Respond timely to client service requests as well as identify problems and develop strategic solutions
- Manage communications for new business quotes, renewals, policy changes, audits and billing
- Understand complex exposures including specialty product lines
- Prepare applications, proposals and related items for existing and new business
- Organize and prioritize workflows for assigned book(s) of business
- Provide expert professional support to our Agent Owners and help grow and retain business
- Assist with client management system and support administrative tasks and marketing projects
- Work with sales professionals to review client exposures, loss experience, current coverages and recommend appropriate products and services on an annual basis
- Utilize the agency management systems in an accurate and timely manner to enter and maintain all pertinent information
Skills
- 10+ years prior professional experience in Commercial Insurance service working with a variety of account sizes with a record of providing an exceptional experience
- Excellent presentation skills, including verbal and written communication
- Strong organizational, time management skills and strong analytical, judgment, and decision-making skills
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Licensed in Property & Casualty Insurance
- Experience handling a generalist book of business heavy in trucking and/or towing exposures
- Applied Epic experienced preferred
