Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. AirMail REI is a direct mail agency focused on real estate investors, providing tailored marketing strategies. The Account Strategist will manage client relationships, analyze campaign performance, and offer strategic recommendations to ensure client success.
Responsibilities
- Own ongoing client relationships as their primary strategic contact
- Run recurring performance review calls with a live dashboard: analyze each client's funnel (leads, appointments, contracts, projected revenue) and efficiency metrics (cost per lead, cost per appointment, cost per contract, ROAS), and translate the numbers into clear recommendations
- Diagnose underperformance under pressure: when a campaign that was working falls off, isolate the cause (data, list, creative, offer pricing, cadence, or market), form a hypothesis, and put a concrete plan in front of the client
- Own the data and reporting behind the reviews, keeping each client's CRM feeding the dashboard cleanly
- Keep campaigns sharp between calls: creative rotation, offer pricing, list strategy, cadence, and testing
- Onboard new clients into a high-touch, premium experience and respond quickly across calls, texts, and email
Skills
- A track record of diagnosing and turning around underperforming campaigns or accounts. This is the core skill of the role
- A direct-response or performance marketing background: you have owned funnels and budgets where every dollar ties to a measurable result (direct mail, paid acquisition, media buying, lead gen). You live in ROAS and cost-per metrics. (Brand, content, and social marketing are not a fit for this role.)
- Strong comfort with numbers, data, and spreadsheets
- A consultative, candid communicator who brings a recommendation and a plan, and stays steady when performance dips
- Organized and self-directed in a fully remote environment
- Real estate investing knowledge or experience (wholesaling, flipping, acquisitions, lead management, or an REI software or data company)
- Hands-on experience running or buying direct mail campaigns
- Experience with REI CRMs (REsimpli, Salesforce / Left Main, GoHighLevel) or real estate data platforms (8020REI, REISift, Audantic, PropertyRadar, PropStream, BatchLeads)
