The Associate Customer Service Representative will assist and educate members, providers, and customers about products and plans, contributing to member satisfaction and operational efficiency in a fast-paced call center environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist and educate members, providers, and customers via phone, internet, and written inquiries
- Respond accurately and promptly to inquiries
- Resolve customer issues ranging from routine to moderately complex
- Document interactions and correspondence clearly and maintain proper tracking
- Navigate multiple computer systems and internal resources to gather plan information
- Maintain fundamental knowledge of insurance terms, practices, and company products
- Independently manage common problems and seek guidance for complex situations
- Stay informed of available resources to ensure effective resolution
Skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year of customer service or related experience (hospitality, healthcare, or office experience preferred)
- Private workspace with a fast, hard-wired internet connection
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in navigating multiple computer programs and applications
- Willingness to learn new skills
