Prepare and supply the necessary financial documentation for audit purposes. Maintain precise and current financial records related to tax and audit functions. Uphold data integrity and compliance with established accounting standards. Collaborate closely with the accounting team to facilitate daily financial operations. Communicate effectively with stakeholders concerning tax issues and audit outcomes. Required Skills Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, emphasizing tax preparation and audit functions within the real estate or mortgage lending industry. Strong grasp of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial compliance requirements. Proficiency in accounting software, particularly QuickBooks Online, as well as the Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, complemented by a keen attention to detail. Capacity to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a remote work setting. Qualifications A minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping experience focusing on tax preparation and auditing. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is preferred.
