Remote Bookkeeping at Hillston

Monroe Christian School in Mangum, OK is looking for one remote bookkeeping to join our team. We are located on 332 W Harrison St. Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, and hard-working. Responsibilities • Recording Transactions: Track and record daily financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. • Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank and credit card statements with the company's financial records to ensure accuracy. • Invoicing and Payments: Generate and send invoices to clients, track payments, and manage accounts payable and receivable. • Payroll Processing: Process employee payroll, ensure timely payment, and manage payroll taxes. • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports. • Tax Preparation: Assist in preparing tax filings and ensure compliance with tax regulations. • Budgeting: Help create and maintain budgets, track expenses, and suggest cost-saving measures. • Record Keeping: Maintain organized, up-to-date records for audits and financial reviews. Qualifications • Accounting Knowledge: Understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and bookkeeping practices. • Attention to Detail: Ability to catch discrepancies and ensure accuracy in financial records. • Time Management: Managing multiple accounts, deadlines, and tasks effectively. • Communication: Clear communication skills to collaborate with clients or business managers. • Software Proficiency: Familiarity with accounting software like QuickBooks, Xero, FreshBooks, or Wave. • Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive financial data with integrity and discretion. • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and correct discrepancies in financial data or reports.
