Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Huckleberry Labs is a mobile app startup dedicated to building life-changing products for families. They are seeking a Brand Design Lead to shape their brand identity, manage a design team, and ensure visual consistency across all platforms and marketing materials.
Responsibilities
• Own the visual brand identity, ensuring consistency and cohesion across all channels and platforms
• Develop, maintain, and evolve comprehensive brand guidelines to enable uniform design standards across the organization
• Lead an upcoming brand refresh project, modernizing our visual identity to reflect our growth and vision
• Create compelling visual assets for marketing campaigns, product launches, presentations, social media, and other customer-facing materials
• Manage, mentor, and grow the design team
• Partner with Brand Marketing, Product, and Leadership teams to ensure a unified brand experience across user touchpoints
• Contribute conceptual thinking to brand storytelling, campaign ideation, and design direction
Skills
• 8+ years of professional design experience, with at least 2–3 years in a senior or lead role
• Proven experience building and evolving brand identities at a high-growth company, preferably in tech, mobile apps, or consumer products
• Strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking and executional excellence across digital, print, and brand systems
• Proficiency in design tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.)
• Experience managing and mentoring designers, with an interest in building and scaling teams
• Strong understanding of visual design principles, typography, and storytelling
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and balance strategic vision with hands-on execution
