They are seeking a Business Development Partner to originate sales, build relationships with C-suite executives, and develop a book of business in their advisory services.
Responsibilities
- Build a book of business selling services into the mid-market
- Find the accounts
- Run the sale
- Own the relationship as it grows
- Sell a fixed-price vendor diagnostic
- Create immediate savings conversations
- Grow advisory retainers and program-management engagements
- Build pipeline and keep a real, uncapped share of what you bring in
Skills
- Proven experience in building a book of business
- Ability to source accounts from scratch
- Experience carrying a real quota
- Comfortable selling professional services to C-suite executives
- Ability to hold consultative conversations about cost and risk
- No need for warm leads to make monthly sales
- Ability to provide proof of previous book of business
- Ability to describe the last new account closed from scratch
- Ability to provide two references at the finalist stage
