The Clinical Operations Analyst II role involves providing training and support for caregivers in the use of clinical information systems, particularly the Electronic Medical Record (EMR), while promoting effective utilization and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Responsibilities
- Maintain thorough understanding of site-specific physician adoption plan
- Review progress toward goals and objectives detailed in the plan
- Coordinate and provide caregiver training and support using classroom, computer-based and one-on-one training
- Maintain education materials and monitor caregiver training and proficiency requirements
- Coordinate and provide new physician on-boarding in collaboration with Office of Physician Staff Affairs and physician remote access connection to the EMR when required
- Promote maximum utilization of EMR within the physician group and serve as a primary contact for caregiver EMR related issues
- Provide ongoing techniques to better incorporate and utilize the EMR
- Identify opportunities for improvement and work with the administrative team, project teams, and ITD/CSO to design and implement improvements, clinical systems and workflows
Skills
- Associate's degree in related field and four years of applicable clinical experience OR Bachelor's degree and two years of experience may substitute work experience
- Experience typically supported by license in a medically related field
- Must have a valid State driver's license (VDL), and a safe driving record
- Licensed in the State of Ohio as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Bachelor's Degree in related field
- Experience with clinical information systems or computerized physician order management
- Experience in education/training/teaching or human resources development
- Experience in a multi-entity health care system strongly preferred
