Job Summary:
We're looking for a talented Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, including cloud-based server infrastructure, application scaling, and middleware. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT operations, cloud technologies, and DevOps, with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure, including cloud-based server infrastructure, application scaling, and middleware
- Provide expert knowledge of concepts related to server load balancing, WAS clustering, and application scaling
- Investigate and resolve middleware issues across development, testing, and production environments
- Proactively monitor local and remote data center operations and equipment, including UPSs, air conditioning, power, office security systems, and all data center processes and procedures
- Foster a culture of sharing and collaboration among the team, and provide guidance to junior engineers as needed
- Stay up-to-date with systems technology best practices and evolving technologies, to maintain area expertise and recommend improvements or changes
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
- 3+ years of experience as a network or system administrator or engineer
- Strong knowledge of IT business operations, systems requirements, and processes
- Proficiency in cloud technologies, including Microsoft Azure, AWS, and IBM Cloud
- Experience with DevOps tools, including CI/CD, GitHub, Artifactory, and Jenkins
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and implement solutions
