Remote Contract Financial Analyst – Government Budgeting

We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst with hands-on experience in government budgeting (Gov-Budget module) for a remote contract opportunity. This role is ideal for someone who goes beyond ERP transactions to develop financial narratives, reconcile numbers, and ensure accuracy across all reports. Key Responsibilities: • Work directly in the Gov-Budget module, managing budget creation, updates, and analysis. • Develop clear financial stories and narratives to support decision-making and reporting. • Reconcile financial data across multiple reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate assumptions and maintain consistency across budget and financial reports. • Identify and resolve discrepancies, and provide insights to improve reporting accuracy. Requirements: • Hands-on experience with Gov-Budget or similar government budgeting systems. • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate financial data into actionable insights. • Experience reconciling financial reports and ensuring accuracy. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present financial narratives. • Self-motivated and able to work remotely with minimal supervision.
