Key Responsibilities • Prepare financial statements, including GAAP, OCBOA, or non-report financials. • Prepare individual and business income tax returns (e.g., 1040, 1120C, 1120S, 1065, 990, and 1041). • Develop and maintain comprehensive work papers in adherence to firm standards and procedures. • Collaborate effectively with team members to complete tasks and projects in a timely manner. Required Skills • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, QuickBooks (desktop and online), and financial/tax preparation software. • Strong verbal and written communication skills, fostering meaningful relationships with clients. • Leadership capabilities and effective communication skills are essential. • A positive, proactive attitude with a focus on delivering exceptional client service. Qualifications • An associate degree is required; a bachelor's degree is preferred. • Demonstrated experience in a public accounting setting, specifically in financial statement and tax return preparation. • CPA designation or candidacy is highly favored.
