Remote CTO - Ranger Finance

About Ranger Finance Ranger aims to provide unparalleled aggregated liquidity, Smart Order Routing (SOR) & data insights via a seamless trading experience. We seek to be Solana's central hub where orders are relayed to the various DEXes via the SOR system. Position Overview We are seeking a CTO to play a key role in leading development for systems, such as our Smart Order Routing engine & integrations of Perpetual DEXes on Solana. Your expertise in Rust and technical leadership will be crucial in building robust, secure, and efficient systems that power our innovative DeFi solutions. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement backend services in Rust, focusing on performance, scalability, and security. • Develop and maintain algorithms and integrations of Perp DEXes on Solana. • Collaborate with cross-functionally to integrate to deliver a quality product. • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. • Identify and troubleshoot complex issues related to backend development. • Build and manage a small team of highly talented developers. Qualifications • Experience: Over 6 years of backend development. • Technical Skills: Proficient in Rust. Experienced with blockchain RPC and indexing. • Proven ability to own and deliver complex projects with high-quality solutions. • Trading Experience: Knowledge or experience with trading platforms, especially DeFi is a significant advantage. • Problem-solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent multitasking skills. • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. • Team player. • Good time-management skills. • Great interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
