Responsibilities
- Receive and respond to inbound calls regarding claims status, eligibility, and benefit information
- Handle inquiries from both members and healthcare providers
- Navigate multiple computer systems, including Avaya for call handling
- Deliver high-quality service while maintaining empathy and professionalism
- Adhere to call center metrics, standards, and attendance requirements
- Participate in a camera-on virtual training program; active engagement required
Skills
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 1 year customer service experience
- Excellent verbal communication and computer navigation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-call-volume environment
- Professional demeanor with a commitment to attendance and punctuality
- Must be comfortable working on camera during training and calls
- A quiet, professional home office setup is required
- Healthcare or health insurance call center experience
- Experience using CRM systems
- Call center background highly preferred
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) candidates are strongly encouraged to apply
