They are seeking a relationship-driven Director of Instructional Technology to build partnerships with K–12 curriculum and technology leaders, driving the adoption of their solutions across New York, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain deep expertise in ClassLink’s products, solutions, and value proposition
- Cultivate and strengthen relationships with curriculum and technology leaders across K–12 districts and regional education organizations, including BOCES
- Proactively identify and drive new business opportunities to expand ClassLink’s footprint within the assigned territory
- Build trusted partnerships with district and BOCES decision-makers to increase adoption and engagement with ClassLink solutions
- Collaborate with internal teams to customize and deliver impactful presentations and product demonstrations tailored to each audience
- Stay informed on New York State education purchasing frameworks and BOCES procurement processes to effectively navigate and support district needs
- Schedule and conduct both virtual and onsite meetings with key stakeholders and decision-makers
- Deliver confident, compelling demonstrations of ClassLink’s platform and its benefits for teaching and learning
- Foster productive partnerships with influential education organizations and associations across New York, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut
- Support seamless customer onboarding and implementation experiences in collaboration with internal teams
- Consistently contribute to the achievement of ClassLink’s sales goals and regional growth targets
- Represent ClassLink with professionalism, integrity, and enthusiasm in all interactions
Skills
- 5+ years of experience in a senior-level consultative sales or business development role, within the K–12 education technology sector
- In-depth knowledge of the K–12 edtech marketplace, including trends, challenges, and purchasing dynamics
- Proven track record of selling to school districts and regional education agencies, with a strong understanding of New York State education systems
- Direct experience engaging with BOCES (Boards of Cooperative Educational Services) and district decision-makers
- Demonstrated success in building and maintaining long-term relationships that drive adoption and customer satisfaction
- Bachelor's degree required
- Passionate advocate for improving teaching, learning, and digital access through innovative technology solutions
- Self-motivated and disciplined, with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Willingness to travel 30–40% throughout New York, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut
- Flexibility to attend conferences, events, and client engagements—including occasional evenings or weekends
- Advanced degree (Master's or post-graduate) strongly preferred
