The Director of Sales will lead a growing inside sales team, work closely with the CEO on go-to-market strategies, and play a key role in building and scaling the sales organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a high-performing inside sales team in a fast-paced, high-velocity sales environment
- Partner closely with the CEO to define and execute Vee's go-to-market strategy
- Build and refine the sales messaging and competitive positioning
- Personally support strategic opportunities and step into deals when needed
- Execute a repeatable sales process that drives high conversion rates, forecast accuracy, and overall execution
- Develop playbooks, onboarding, sales enablement and scalable sales processes that drive consistent performance
- Drive performance through rigorous pipeline management, forecasting, KPI tracking, and regular deal reviews
- Help evolve our outbound motion while optimizing our existing inbound engine
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and Operations to continuously improve the customer journey
- Recruit, hire, and develop exceptional sales talent as the organization scales
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous learning, customer obsession, and operational excellence
Skills
- 4+ years leading B2B SaaS sales teams
- Experience managing high-velocity inside sales organizations
- Proven success building and scaling sales teams from an early stage
- Hands-on experience building and leading outbound sales motions, while partnering effectively with marketing-generated inbound demand
- Strong sales coaching capabilities with a track record of improving team performance
- Comfortable operating in a player-coach capacity and personally contributing when needed
- Strong analytical skills with experience managing forecasts, sales metrics, and pipeline health
- Excellent communication and executive presence
- Passion for building systems, processes, and teams
- Experience selling into nonprofit organizations or mission-driven customers
- Experience selling AI, workflow automation, or productivity software
- Familiarity with modern sales methodologies such as SPICED, or similar frameworks
- Experience working in Seed through Series B/C SaaS companies
