They are seeking a Director of Performance Marketing Operations to lead the execution, optimization, and growth of their lead generation business, ensuring operational excellence and driving performance across various marketing channels.
Responsibilities
- Translate executive priorities into scalable operational plans with measurable business outcomes
- Establish and enforce processes that improve efficiency, execution consistency, and scalability across all O&O programs
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement fixes that support continued growth
- Drive cross-functional accountability across Product, Technology, Finance, Marketing, and Sales
- Oversee execution across outbound dialing, direct mail, digital media, and affiliate marketing channels
- Ensure all programs launch accurately, on time, and on budget
- Drive operational excellence across every lead generation initiative in the portfolio
- Partner with leadership to prioritize investments and growth opportunities
- Own the operational reporting framework that drives executive decision making
- Build and maintain KPI dashboards, forecasting models, and performance reports
- Monitor lead quality, conversion rates, revenue performance, profitability, and ROI continuously
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for leadership
- Drive continuous channel optimization through data-driven decision making
- Own tracking architecture, attribution, QA processes, and reporting infrastructure end-to-end
- Ensure accurate measurement from traffic source through lead generation, conversion, and revenue
- Partner with development and technology teams to improve system capabilities
- Champion automation and process improvements that reduce manual work without sacrificing accuracy
Skills
- 5+ years of progressive performance marketing experience — with significant time spent inside an Owned & Operated lead generation environment supporting pay-for-performance customer acquisition programs
- Deep hands-on experience with pay-per-call, pay-per-lead, CPA, and affiliate marketing models
- Strong command of O&O operational metrics — CPL, RPC, conversion rates, ROI, lead quality, profitability
- Experience owning tracking architecture and attribution across the full consumer funnel
- Advanced analytical skills — Excel/Google Sheets at a high level, comfortable building performance models from scratch
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives and build operational discipline across an organization
- Experience scaling a high-growth O&O performance marketing organization
- Background in insurance, financial services, or other regulated consumer verticals
- Familiarity with AI-powered call center or voice agent programs
- P&L ownership and executive-level performance reporting experience
- Ringba, Invoca, or equivalent call tracking platform experience
