The Distribution Sales Manager will be responsible for managing global partners in EMEA, focusing on developing strategies to grow ITT’s distribution business, driving sales, and strengthening partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain influential relationships with senior management and key contacts at assigned distributor partners
- Manage overall distributor business performance, including sales growth, product expansion, and inventory planning
- Drive achievement of sales budgets (POP and POS) and deliver against growth objectives
- Develop and implement strategies for new and existing product portfolios
- Monitor competitive activity, market trends, and customer requirements, adapting strategy as needed
- Coordinate with Product Management and Pricing to maximise product line growth
- Partner with Marketing to design and execute distributor campaigns
- Collaborate with Key Account Managers and BDMs to deliver regional distribution sales plans
- Lead cross-functional coordination with Product Management, Engineering, Customer Service and Operations to support growth initiatives
- Analyse sales performance, inventory levels, and market opportunities to optimise coverage and results
- Gain and apply strong working knowledge of ITT internal systems, processes, and capabilities to support distributors and expand business
Skills
- Minimum 10 years' experience in the electronic components industry
- Proven track record in supplier and/or distribution management
- Strong technical knowledge of interconnect products and applications
- Demonstrated success in leading distributor growth initiatives and achieving sales targets
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills in fast-moving environments
- Persuasive communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels
- Experience in leading cross-functional projects and programmes
- Willingness to travel 25–50% (Mainland Europe) to support distributors and internal teams
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Management, or a technical field
