The Document Specialist role supports the Complex Claims team by managing and streamlining document workflows to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with internal procedures.
Responsibilities
- Manage document workflows including processing, quality assurance, and compliance with procedures
- Review incoming claims, assign statuses, organize data, and route files to auditors
- Collaborate with internal teams to maintain import queues, reconcile balances, validate charges, and correct errors
- Oversee file intake and output, address discrepancies, errors, and inquiries
- Identify and report system issues by submitting detailed service tickets
- Analyze data trends related to documents and systems, providing updates on status, claim routing, efficiency, inventory, and volume
- Monitor file-sharing processes to ensure accurate data transfer and appropriate volume levels
- Perform data entry for itemized bills
- Complete additional tasks as assigned
