Job Overview
We're looking for a dedicated and experienced Remote Early Child Support Assistant / Teaching Professional to support our lead educators in cultivating an engaging and effective learning environment. Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with lead educators to design and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse student needs.
- Assist in classroom settings as a co-teacher or teaching aide, facilitating the successful implementation of lesson plans and reinforcing lesson concepts.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, addressing their unique needs and abilities.
- Uphold academic integrity by enforcing classroom rules and routines, ensuring a conducive atmosphere for learning.
- Maintain accurate records and track student progress in alignment with educational objectives.
- Lead small group and individual instruction using evidence-based practices to address diverse student needs.
- Work closely with special education staff to implement necessary accommodations and support strategies.
- Engage with parents during meetings and maintain transparent communication with families.
- Supervise student groups and assist with daily transitions, ensuring a smooth and safe learning environment.
- Prepare the classroom for lessons and assist with logistical tasks, including material preparation.
- Support daily administrative responsibilities, including arrival/dismissal and supervision during lunch and recess.
- Exhibit flexibility by stepping in for the classroom teacher during meetings or professional development sessions.
- Assist in fostering a safe and nurturing learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth.

Essential Qualifications and Skills
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A minimum of 2 years of college education, with a preferred Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, ESL, or Special Education.
- Experience working with children in an educational context, with a deep understanding of child development and learning principles.
