Job Description:
VocoVision is committed to providing high-quality, accessible education to all students, including those learning English as a second language. As a Remote ELL Teacher, you will play a vital role in helping non-native English speakers develop their language skills through engaging online lessons and activities. Key Responsibilities:
- Work with students in grades K-12, with a focus on 4-12, to develop their English language skills
- Design and deliver engaging online lessons and activities to support language acquisition
- Utilize technology and online teaching platforms, including Zoom and Google Meets, to facilitate virtual instruction
- Collaborate with our team to ensure high-quality education and support for our students
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, TESOL, Linguistics, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Certification in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) or a similar qualification
- Experience teaching ELL students, preferably in a virtual setting
- Proficient in using technology and online teaching platforms
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to connect with diverse learners
- Knowledge of New Hampshire's educational standards and guidelines for ELL instruction is a plus
VocoVision Requirements:
- Applicants must be comfortable working as an Independent Contractor
- Candidates will be required to pass a tech screening ensuring Wi-Fi, download speeds, and Zoom capabilities are proficient
- Contractors must obtain professional liability insurance before the beginning of assignment
