Global BioAg Innovations™ is seeking an experienced agriculture business leader for the role of Business Development Partner – North America. This position involves leading business development for agri-inputs, driving market expansion, and managing key accounts to enhance the company's commercial presence in North America.
Responsibilities
- Lead regional business development, revenue growth, and commercial execution across assigned North American territories
- Identify new market opportunities, customer segments, and routes to market
- Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline and deliver forecast accuracy
- Develop and manage strategic channel partners, distributors, retailers, and commercial partners
- Strengthen relationships with key accounts, grower groups, cooperatives, consultants, and industry stakeholders
- Support customer onboarding and long-term account development
- Drive product adoption through field programs, technical support, demonstrations, trials, grower meetings, and educational initiatives
- Collaborate with technical and marketing teams to create customer-focused value propositions
- Represent the company at industry conferences, trade events, and commercial meetings
- Achieve sales targets while maintaining healthy margins and sustainable growth
- Track inventory movement, demand planning inputs, market execution, and supply chain coordination
- Maintain CRM usage, pipeline management, reporting, and sales forecasting
- Monitor market trends, competitive activity, pricing, and regulatory developments
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve go-to-market strategies and commercial growth initiatives
Skills
- B.S. in Agriculture, Agronomy, Plant Sciences, Agricultural Business, Biological Sciences, or related field with 10+ years of relevant experience, OR
- M.S. in Agriculture / MBA / Agribusiness with 8+ years of relevant commercial experience
- Strong experience in ag biologicals, crop inputs, crop protection, biostimulants, seed, specialty agriculture, or ag technology markets
- Proven track record in business development, territory management, distributor networks, and strategic account growth
- Experience working with growers, ag retailers, distributors, and commercial agriculture ecosystems in North America
- Strong negotiation, forecasting, and commercial planning skills
- Ability to travel within assigned markets
