We are seeking an experienced ETL QA Test Engineer to join our team, responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data across our data warehouse. As a key member of our data testing team, you will develop, maintain, and execute test cases to validate data integrity and identify discrepancies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and execute test cases to validate data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across different data layers
- Test ETL processes to ensure correct data extraction, transformation, and loading from source to target systems, adhering to business rules
- Perform source-to-target data validation to ensure data integrity and identify discrepancies or data quality issues
- Develop automated data validation scripts using SQL, Python, or testing frameworks to streamline testing efforts
- Conduct testing in cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, Snowflake) to ensure performance and scalability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve data quality issues
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in QA, with 5+ years of experience in data testing
- Strong understanding of ETL processes and data testing methodologies
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., SQL, Python) and testing frameworks
- Familiarity with ETL testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Informatica, Talend, dbt)
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
