The Finance Analyst will assist in tracking budgets, building forecast models, and ensuring smooth financial processes to help achieve the company's financial goals. Responsibilities • Conduct regular financial analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, to support strategic decision-making and resource allocation • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, payment processing, and collections • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial information, review project budgets, and track project-related expenses • Prepare comprehensive financial reports, statements, and presentations for management and clients, highlighting key insights and trends • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ledgers, and databases, and reconcile discrepancies as necessary • Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements, tax filings, and other regulatory compliance requirements • Monitor cash flow, analyze financial data, and recommend improvements to optimize financial performance • Support the implementation and improvement of financial systems and processes, aiming for increased efficiency and accuracy • Collaborate with external stakeholders such as vendors, clients, and auditors to address financial inquiries and ensure seamless operations • Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to provide informed financial guidance and recommendations Skills • Experience (1-2 years) in finance, accounting, or a related role, preferably within a marketing agency or creative industry • Familiarity with financial software and tools, including MS Excel, accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, etc.), and data analysis tools • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights • Detail-oriented approach with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and adherence to financial standards • Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines effectively • Knowledge of advertising and marketing industry financial practices is advantageous Company Overview • BM Digital is a marketing agency that helps new and old businesses gain visibility, leads, and sales.
