Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Amazon is seeking a Finance Transformation Manager to join the Accounting PMO for their emerging business, Leo. This role is pivotal in supporting the launch and expansion of Amazon Leo, focusing on driving strategic initiatives and collaborating with global stakeholders to deliver scalable financial solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and drive new and evolving programs with cross-functional stakeholders, defining end to end strategy, owning implementation activities, developing processes, metrics, documentation and communications, and supporting continuous improvement of programs
- Partner with worldwide business, technology, and product teams on delivering high-quality program
- Partner with business teams to influence business processes and decision making to scale financial recordkeeping health while meeting business objectives
- Communicate and influence adoption of programs and processes across leaders, peers, and cross functional organizations
- Collaborate and build relationships with business, accounting, technology, and finance owners globally to build scalable financial automation with the highest degree of controllership
- Look around corners, proactively set up the team for success in achieving our goals, and earn trust through broad stakeholder influence
Skills
- 5+ years of multiple finance and accounting roles experience
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- Experience delivering results for large, cross-functional initiatives/projects
- CPA
- Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience partnering with technology teams to design financial recordkeeping systems for global, multi-currency, multi-entity organizations
- Experience working in the satellite internet and/or telecommunications industries
