Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Stronger Than Stroke Foundation is looking for a motivated intern to support our grant writing efforts. This is a hands-on role, where you'll see your work show up directly in real funding applications that support stroke survivors and their families.
Responsibilities
- Research grant opportunities aligned with our program areas
- Draft grant applications and letters of inquiry
- Track application deadlines and requirements
- Maintain a grant calendar and follow-up system
Skills
- Strong written communication skills
- Detail-oriented and comfortable with deadlines
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- Genuine interest in health equity, community health, or nonprofit work
- Prior grant writing experience a plus, not required
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree program (nonprofit management, English, public health, or related field preferred, but not required)
