Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Trinity Health, through its Mercy Home Health division, is seeking a Full-time Account Executive for the University of Penn area. The role involves acting as a liaison between Mercy Home Health and various referral sources, coordinating care, and processing referrals to enhance market share.
Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between Mercy Home Health and referral sources such as discharge planners in acute care, skilled nursing, short-term rehabilitation settings, as well as independent living, personal care and assisted living facilities, CCRCs and physician practices
- Work across all departments as necessary to coordinate care
- Work closely with the referral source, patients and their families to outline our services and gather the necessary information for a safe transition to home
- Process referrals and increase market share from assigned accounts to achieve target forecast
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree with 3-5 years healthcare sales experience, home care experience and/or clinical background (i.e. Nursing, Medical Social Work) preferred
- Computer efficient with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Current PA driver's license required
- BS/BA Degree in related field or business
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to develop good rapport with referral sources and other community groups
- Previous sales/marketing experience required
- Experience in healthcare-related field with a proven track record
