Gravitas Recruitment Group is a global leader in smart outdoor robotics, and they are seeking a HR Business Partner for the North America market. The role involves collaborating with the headquarters HR team to implement HR policies, understanding business needs, and overseeing the entire employee lifecycle for local staff. Responsibilities • Collaborate with the headquarters HR team to lead the design, establishment and continuous improvement of full-cycle HR module systems across the US, Canada and other local regions, and ensure the effective local implementation of headquarters HR policies • Deeply understand business needs, participate in the management work of business departments, and provide targeted HR solutions covering talent inventory, talent recruitment, talent development, and performance management • Develop HR policies and processes that fully comply with local laws and regulations, and conduct ongoing management of HR compliance risks • Oversee the entire employee lifecycle (onboarding, transfer, promotion, offboarding) for local staff. Conduct regular communication with employees to understand their needs and feedback, and drive the improvement of employee engagement • Assist the local team with daily administrative support tasks, and collaborate with the headquarters administration team to establish and optimize the local administrative support system • Accurately communicate headquarters strategies to the local team and relay local feedback to the headquarters. Facilitate cross-cultural communication and collaboration to support the building of the company’s global team culture Skills • Bachelor's degree or above; major in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law or related fields is preferred • Minimum 5 years of overseas HR work experience, with proficient knowledge of US labor laws, social security systems and employment compliance procedures • Fluent in both Mandarin and English • Excellent communication, coordination and interpersonal skills; able to work independently and adapt to the fast-paced, high-growth environment of a startup • Prior experience in technology hardware companies or supporting Chinese enterprises' overseas expansion initiatives is a strong plus Company Overview • Gravitas are serious about impacting the recruitment industry - positively.
