Latitude is partnering with a healthcare company looking for a healthcare/IT contracts attorney to support its In-House Healthcare legal team. The role involves managing a high volume of IT, commercial, and healthcare-related contracts while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and data privacy requirements.
Responsibilities
- Support its In-House Healthcare legal team
- Managing a high volume of IT, commercial, and healthcare-related contracts
- Providing business-oriented guidance on agreements such as MSAs, SOWs, and BAAs
- Ensuring compliance with applicable healthcare regulations and data privacy requirements
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating high-volume agreements, including MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, and Business Associate Agreements (BAAs)
- Working knowledge of healthcare regulatory frameworks, including HIPAA
- Strong understanding of PHI handling, data privacy, and security considerations
- Familiarity with the interconnection of IT contracts with HIPAA
Skills
- 5+ years of legal experience, with a strong emphasis on commercial contracting in healthcare, healthcare technology, or a related regulated industry
- Demonstrated experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating high-volume agreements, including MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, and Business Associate Agreements (BAAs)
- Working knowledge of healthcare regulatory frameworks, including HIPAA, with a strong understanding of PHI handling, data privacy, and security considerations
- Familiarity with the interconnection of IT contracts with HIPAA
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing
