Angela Adams Consulting Services is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Insurance Specialist/Insurance Account Manager to join their growing team. The role involves servicing commercial and personal lines accounts, managing client relationships, processing policy changes, and providing exceptional support to both clients and carriers.
Responsibilities
- Manage and service a book of insurance business while maintaining strong client relationships
- Process endorsements, policy changes, renewals, cancellations, and reinstatements
- Review policies for accuracy and identify coverage gaps or potential exposures
- Respond promptly to client inquiries regarding coverage, billing, claims, and policy servicing
- Coordinate with insurance carriers to obtain quotes, coverage information, and underwriting requirements
- Assist clients through the renewal process and provide coverage recommendations
- Maintain accurate documentation and activity records within agency management systems
- Support producers and account executives with account servicing needs
- Ensure compliance with agency procedures and insurance regulations
Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of insurance industry experience preferred
- Experience servicing Commercial Lines, Personal Lines, or both
- Working knowledge of AMS360 and/or Applied Epic required
- Active Property & Casualty License preferred
- Strong understanding of insurance terminology, coverage forms, and policy servicing
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and agency management systems
- CSR, CISR, CIC, or other insurance designations are a plus
- Experience working with multiple insurance carriers
- Previous remote work experience
- Experience managing high-volume client accounts
