Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Khloud is a next-generation snack brand co-founded by Khloé Kardashian, focused on innovation in the protein snack market. The Key Account Manager will drive sales growth and new distribution across the Natural Channel and West Coast regional retail accounts, while building strong relationships and executing retail strategies.
Responsibilities
- Territory leadership: This role will own West Coast regional grocery accounts and natural retailers, leading selling, promotional planning, and building strong retailer relationships for Khloud
- Distribution growth: Drive distribution growth across both established platforms and innovation - expanding distribution/doors at current accounts and securing placements where we have key voids
- Broker management: Partner with brokers to secure meetings for key review windows and for off-cycle placement. Align brokers closely to our company goals through creative contests and incentive programs
- Retail execution & merchandising: Aggressively pursue off shelf merchandising and in-store displays
- Trade promotion & budgeting: Manage trade spending and promotional calendar to maximize ROI
- Forecasting & analytics: Own forecasting for your key accounts and leverage syndicated and distributor data to drive decisions
- Sell stories & innovation: Create compelling sell stories, sell sheets, pricing strategies, and product rationales for new SKU launches and line extensions for your channel/retailers
- Relationships: Build strong executive and buyer relationships at natural/regional accounts and distributors; represent the brand at trade shows, distributor shows, and retailer meetings
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Brand to align promo plans, supply, and go-to-market priorities
Skills
- 4+ years of retail sales experience, including account management and selling into the natural/regional retail landscape
- Demonstrated success selling into grocery and natural chains and independent accounts; experience with brokers & distributors required
- Strong track record of driving distribution expansion and retail execution (off-shelf merchandising, resets, displays)
- Analytical skills: comfortable with POS, IRI, retailer data, Excel modeling, and forecasting tools
- Excellent communicator and storyteller. Persuasive presenter to buyers and cross-functional teams
- Strong communication and cross-functional leadership skills
- Experience selling and building a business at Sprouts and/or similar natural retailers
- Ideal candidate also has experience with traditional west coast retailers including Stater Brothers and Raley's
