Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. EPAM Systems is seeking a Lead Cloud DevOps Engineer with a solid understanding of Agile and ITIL processes. The role involves leading a DevOps team, strategizing, and executing tasks to establish high-availability application environments and ensuring seamless onboarding of new clients.
Responsibilities
- Lead the multi-tenant project as the Lead Cloud DevOps Engineer
- Instruct and coach junior members of the DevOps team
- Design, plan, and engineer tasks for the team
- Participate in strategic activities such as setting up the environment for high availability applications and conducting disaster recovery testing
- Participate in the onboarding of new customers
- Ensuring security by design and adhering to the principle of least privilege
- Comply with CSTR, Cloud Platform & Engineering standards
Skills
- 5+ years of experience in Azure Cloud and AKS, with strong skills in Azure DevOps
- Proven track record of leading and mentoring a team of engineers
- Proficiency in Terraform
- Knowledge of DevOps tools and in-depth understanding of DevOps practices
- Python skills would be advantageous
- Deep understanding of network scale and security scopes
- A good understanding of Agile and ITIL processes
- Ability to work in Central European Time (CET) hours (9 AM – 5 PM)
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal (Upper-Intermediate Level)
- Basic understanding of AWS and GCP
